Love Is Blindseason 5 wasn’t Izzy Zapata’s last time on reality TV, and it’s time to talk about what he’s been up to since the show. Netflix’s hit dating show debuted in 2020, spotlighting a group of men and women who tested the theory of love being blind. Each season, the cast dates one another by the bounds of pods without seeing each other before deciding if they want to get engaged. After a few couples reach engagement, they date in the real world, and once again decide if they want to stay in their marriage.

With six seasons under its belt, Love Is Blind introduced the Netflix audience to a slate of interesting personalities. Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed proved the show’s formulae worked during season 1 and have stayed together since the show wrapped. However, there are plenty of people who join Love Is Blind chasing clout from appearing on the popular reality TV show. After dating on reality TV, Izzy formed a relationship away from cameras. He revealed he was dating Shelby Webb in October 2023 after the Love Is Blind season 5 reunion. However, in a shocking turn of events, Shelby took to Instagram to allege he cheated on her with another woman. She shared screenshots of herself and Izzy and a mystery woman who claims she hooked up with the reality star. “They always get caught. Trust your instincts,” Shelby wrote in the caption of the photo, which led fans to believe they’d broken up for good.

Izzy Was On Perfect Match Season 2

After his stint on Love Is Blind, Izzy appeared in Perfect Match season 2. He struggled to build a genuine connection on the reality dating show. Izzy was most interested in Micah Lussier and Tolú Ekundare, though neither of those matches blossomed into a long-lasting connection. Most of the conflict during Perfect Match season 2 was aided by Too Hot To Handle alum Harry Jowsey, though Izzy played his role in some of the drama.

Izzy Was Engaged To Stacy

During Love Is Blind season 5, Izzy got engaged to Stacy. They navigated a love square with Johnie and Chris but ended up choosing each other. Despite their engagement, they chose to call off their wedding during the finale. Love Is Blind season 5 was the beginning of Izzy’s newfound career in reality TV, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he returned for another Netflix dating show in the future.

Since appearing in both Love Is Blind and Perfect Match in the last couple of years, Izzy has remained in the spotlight. Like most reality star alums, Izzy is using his short-term fame to his advantage, career-wise. Izzy has become somewhat of an influencer since appearing on Netflix shows, posting ads for a variety of companies, mainly ones focusing on health and wellness. In January, Izzy shared a post with My Fit Foods, a meal prep company serving in Texas, Colorado, and Oregon, according to their Instagram page. He even partnered with Warner Brothers in the same month to promote the movie Companion.

As for his dating life, Izzy's is still single as of March 2025. He has no evidence of a girlfriend on his Instagram; however, he could simply want to keep his dating life private. Izzy went through my ups and downs in terms of dating since he appeared on Love Is Blind. His engagement to Stacey didn't work out, plus he didn't come off great after Perfect Match season 2 aired. Nonetheless, Izzy could appear again on Perfect Match season 3 if he's asked back; however, there hasn't been any talk of him returning to the show.
