MANILA – Choco Mucho star setter Deanna Wong will be honored as the Fan Favorite during the first-ever Pilipinas Live PVL Press Corps Awards Night at Novotel Manila Araneta City on May 28.

Wong secured the title after amassing an impressive 24,000 votes in an online poll conducted on the PVL Press Corps’ official Facebook page, beating Creamline standouts Jema Galanza (12,000), Alyssa Valdez (10,000) and Bea De Leon (6,400).

Wong has a massive fan base -- 866,000 followers on Facebook, 1.4 million followers on Instagram, and 2.4 million followers on TikTok.

Meanwhile, Game 2 of the PVL All-Filipino Conference quarterfinals between PLDT and Choco Mucho was voted as the Pilipinas Live Game of the Year.

The Flying Titans edged out PLDT in a five-set thriller, 25-15, 12-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13, PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on March 20 to clinch a semifinal spot.

Chery Tiggo will also be recognized with the Fair Play Award, earning the most green cards (six) across the Reinforced and All-Filipino Conferences, narrowly beating Akari.

The green card eliminates delays or the need for a video challenge as the team or player admits to the referee that it/she is at fault.
